We are thrilled to announce our participation in the 2024 ASHRAE Decarbonization Conference: Decarbonizing Existing Tall Buildings, held from October 21 to 23, 2024, at the Sheraton New York Times Square in New York City.
This conference served as a dynamic platform for stakeholders in the built environment industry to exchange information and ideas on reducing carbon emissions from existing buildings in cold climates. The focus was on replicable decarbonization technical solutions for large and tall buildings, sectors recognized as particularly challenging to decarbonize.
Keynote sessions included insights from New York City's Chief Climate Officer and Commissioner of Environmental Protection, Rohit Aggarwala, in conversation with CIBSE President Fiona Cousins, discussing the evolution of New York City's building energy and climate laws.
Our team had the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, attend insightful sessions, and explore innovative strategies to advance our commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient building practices. We are excited to implement the knowledge gained to further our decarbonization efforts and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Looking ahead, we are also planning to attend the 2025 ASHRAE Building Decarbonization Conference, which will take place from October 22-24, 2025, in Chicago, IL. We look forward to continuing the conversation on building decarbonization and exploring the latest advancements in sustainable solutions.
