LL97 Compliance and Service Provider EXPO in NYC

On June 17, 2025, Heat Pump Labs proudly joined the LL97 Compliance: Service Provider Expo at the Brooklyn Navy Yard - a full- day expo and conference that brought together local industry experts, government officials, and building professionals to advance Local Law 97 compliance across New York City.

Hosted by NYC Accelerator, in collaboration with Con Edison, National Grid, and NYSERDA, the expo served as a vital resource to help building owners and property managers navigate NYC's Local Law 97 framework. This law mandates significant reductions for most large buildings, making compliance a top priority for New York City's sustainability goals.

Local Law 97 (LL97) is a cornerstone of NYC's Climate Mobilization Act, requiring buildings over 25,000 square feet to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our participation in the expo underscores our alignment with the city's climate objectives and our pledge to support building owners through compliant, efficient, and sustainable solutions.

Building on the momentum of the expo, Heat Pump Labs remains committed to advancing LL97 compliance through tailored energy upgrades and strategic planning, leveraging incentive programs from Con Edison, NYSERDA, and others to reduce project costs, as well as empowering stakeholders with clarity and confidence as New York City moves toward the future.
